Landmark Tower Sky Garden

Many observation decks have 360-degree panoramic views, but not all of those experiences are fulfilling. The 69th floor (nice) of the Landmark Tower is one of those that is definitely worth it in so many ways. Unlike Tokyo Tower and Skytree, this highlight of Yokohama’s skyline is all about serenity, capped off with stunning views of Mt. Fuji.

Beyond the stretch of suburbs that leads to the western mountains, Yokohama’s hub of development is both picturesque and approachable. You can pick out streets, scenes, people, and places so easily from this angle. Tokyo sits just on the horizon to the North, while the South view is dedicated to Yokohama Stadium and the inlet of vessels arriving at port.

The gallery is easy to navigate - the square-shaped Landmark Tower’s structure felt on the inside with four sets of wide windows, a cafe, gift shop, and even a section of elevated, theater bench seats facing towards Mt. Fuji. Arrive an hour or so before sunset to claim your spot, perhaps even one of the romantic couples-style bench seats along the glass.
